Brent was born and raised in East Central Iowa where he lives with his wife, Tracie, a school teacher, and their 3 kids. He was blessed to have grandparents who started his passion for the outdoors at a young age, by taking short pheasant hunting and fishing trips on friends' and family farms. With most of his teenage years spent fishing and bird hunting, he didn't start big game hunting until his early 20's. He quickly fell in love with bow hunting, especially whitetails. Since then he has been fortunate to hunt 8 states and Canada for a variety of game.
He feels lucky to have his roots in a great place like Iowa and has hunted most of the premier counties across the state. This experience has helped him fine tune his hunting skills in several environments and habitats. Brent uses trail cam techniques as well as glassing and shed hunting with trained dogs to find mature bucks and the properties they live on.
By experimenting on his own property, he has found ways to draw mature bucks from surrounding properties at opportune times. He continuously tries new strategies for getting close to mature bucks. Brent's self-employed background in construction has allowed him to spend more than average time enjoying and learning the outdoors. He has also learned the value of customer satisfaction to having a successful career. He looks forward to sharing his passion and his knowledge as well as that of the other Whitetail Property staff that are among the elite whitetail managers and hunters in the business today.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Whitetail Properties agent, Brent Grosse, while looking for property to be used for family recreation, hunting, and general enjoyment. I am pleased with the attention to detail Brent went through as we worked out the details, viewing, questions, etc. during that purchase. I was exceptionally happy with how personable and knowledgeable he was in answering the many questions I had relative to such a purchase. I would wholeheartedly recommend Brent Grosse and Whitetail Properties if you’re interested in recreational, hunting property. You will not be disappointed. Jere Vyverberg Waverly, Iowa
