Joe's passion for the outdoors can be seen in his lifelong commitment to excellence. Joe earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology/Ecology and immediately put what he learned in the classroom to practice.

Joe has spent the past fifteen years in the outdoor guide service profession. First as an apprentice, then as owner and operator of the Midwest’s premiere whitetail destination― Tall Tine Outfitters, Inc. in Roodhouse, Illinois. TTO’s properties have spread across Greene, Scott, Morgan, Jersey and Macoupin counties.

Joe’s knowledge of whitetails and their habitat is widely sought. Countless television shows have been filmed on Joe's managed properties and he has been featured in publications like Outdoor Life, Bow & Arrow Hunting and Petersen’s Bowhunting. His unique management techniques are considered pilot programs by most in the whitetail game. A master at managing properties, Joe’s intimate knowledge of different habitats and their biodiversity, both academic and real-world, have led him to create sanctuaries rich with world-class whitetails.

Prior to becoming a broker for Whitetail Properties, Joe’s outfitting business boasted a reputation for growing dream maker whitetails—and for putting clients on them. Annually, clients harvested and collected countless Pope & Young and Boone and Crockett qualifying deer. These successes are a direct reflection of Joe’s "best land management practices” ―those chiseled from years of trail and error.
