Rick Elliott
Rick grew up in North Myrtle Beach, SC and discovered from an early age that he had a passion for bow hunting and whitetail deer. Now Rick pursues his passion for deer hunting and property management on his own farm in Horry County, South Carolina.
After attending Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC and receiving his Masters in Business Administration from University of South Carolina, Rick returned to re-join the family business in 1990, and has run the family vacation rental company, Elliott Beach Rentals for 20 years.
Rick grew up around the real estate industry. His father, State Senator Dick Elliott, started the real estate business in 1959 and Rick has followed in his dads footsteps. Rick and his family are members of Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church and he enjoys golfing, hunting and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
In his spare time away from the hustle and bustle of the office, Rick enjoys walking in the woods looking for whitetails and fowl. He appreciates the opportunity the outdoors provides. As Rick says, “Every person needs a spot of land to get away – cut off the smart phone, iPad and laptop and de-stress and relax.” He looks forward to helping his clients to get away and enjoy their landownership as he does. His lifelong association with the real estate business and many years of recreational land ownership including wildlife and food plot management under his belt makes Rick uniquely qualified to represent clients wishing to buy or sell recreational land property.
A quick success story...
I knew I wanted my own hunting tract in South Carolina as long as I can remember. I visited the Carolina’s many times when I was getting ready to retire and searched for days, weeks, months and what turned into years for the perfect spot. I had very specific requirements including a lodge or home on the tract since I would be living there for half of each year.
