I had to write and let you know how happy I am with my “Whitetail Properties experience”. With an immense amount of help from Jason Cleveland, I was able to purchase my 1st piece of property for hunting. Being a novice to both property purchase and hunting, Jason helped me understand the process and helped direct me to the right piece of property that would fit my needs.
I closed on my 120 acre tract on November 8th and was hunting on opening day of firearms season just one week later. What a thrill to be hunting on my very own land. And what a heart thumping ride of adrenaline it was to encounter and take a 152” trophy on my 1st day in the stand! Needless to say I am hooked.

I can say I was most satisfied and happy with Jason's professionalism, honesty, and ethical manner in which he treated this deal. Jason even took time to walk the property with me right after the purchase and gave me sound advice as to where to set tree stands and food plots. His expertise and knowledge was greatly appreciated. If I ever decide to sell the property or know of anyone interested in property, I'll have no problem going to or recommending Jason. He was always very helpful and responsive during the acquisition of the property.
I wanted to provide feedback concerning Jason Cleveland my agent at Whitetail Properties. I had been in the market for a farm for several years and was pro-actively searching websites, newspaper adds and other real-estate advertisements. I visited potential properties on my own as well as with other real-estate agents with no success. I would like to recommend Jason Cleveland by simply telling you what happened in my case.
After my husband died, I was left with 60 acres of land that we had not seen for over 30 years. I lived over 3 hours away. At the recommendation of my lawyer, I contacted a real estate agent from a town near the property. This realtor said that he drove to the property one Sunday afternoon to look at it. He said that the land had only seen hunters and hoot owls for a long time and that there was no road accessing the property. (Later I found out he had stood at the edge of the property and evaluated it.) He recommended a price I felt was much too low and in a conversation he referred to it as “junk property”.
In the meantime, I found a postcard on my husband’s desk from Whitetail Properties Realty and called Jason. The same day I met the first realtor in his office, I met Jason at the property. He jumped out of his truck and put on his boots and was quickly in the woods. He looked it over and came back with the news that there were several hunting stands, deer rubbings, turkeys and quail and that it was good hunting property. He suggested asking a much higher price than the first gentleman. I was impressed with the fact that he saw the land in a positive light; he actually checked it out and was energetic. Of course I hired him.
Jason found out who had been hunting there and contacted the people and also the conservation agent. He worked with the title company, and we worked on trying to get a road into the property. I found it impressive that he was doing a lot of work to sell it for me.
When one party backed out, he had another that was interested. It took him only 4 months to sell it “as is” and we settled on a very good price. Jason kept in touch with me during this time and even arranged for the final signing of the deed so that I would not have to drive to the title company.
I would recommend Jason Cleveland as a man of integrity. He is hard working and seems to enjoy his job and his clients.
