Chris Bordelon was born and raised in Central and Northwest Louisiana and currently resides in Minden, Louisiana with his wife and two daughters. Having developed a passion for the outdoors as a child, he obtained a bachelor's degree in Forestry from Louisiana Tech University in 2007 with intentions of keeping the outdoor's as his future workplace for the entirety of his career. It didn't take long to feel the need to share the knowledge learned in the forestry field.
Chris became a licensed realtor in 2011 and was able to aid prospective buyers and sellers of rural timber and recreational tracts. Since becoming a salesman (Land Specialist), he has been able to help numerous individuals/families sell and buy rural tracts of land, farms, and homesites in the North and Central portions of the state of Louisiana. Aside from assisting landowners with listing and selling, he still obtains an active passion for the woods and water, whether it be hunting, fishing, or enjoying a lake day with family and friends. Chris enjoys conversing with clientele on his viewpoint of land and timber as an active long term investment. Receiving positive feedback from individuals and families actively enjoying a recreation tract after a sale is completed is the most rewarding aspect of this profession.
Testimonials
"Chris is a top notch real estate agent. He knows rural land in northwest Louisiana better than anyone. He has a strong forestry background and also a passion for hunting and fishing. I am a forester myself and I can tell Chris really knows about forestry management and is also very in tune with current markets to provide any landowner with great management advice. That knowledge as a realtor doesn’t come from someone being straight out of school but someone who really submerges themselves in the forest industry. Chris can explain to anyone the whole picture from plaint trees all the way up to harvesting. I could also tell he was an avid deer Hunter by the way he was able to market my property by not only high lighting the timber investment opportunities but also by displaying the recreational benefits. This high level of diversification allows Chris to be able to communicate with potential buyers on both sides of the fence whether it be from a rec stand point or a timber investment side. Chris will definitely be on speed dial when it comes to me buying my next property or selling another."
