Tract 2 is comprised of five parcels on the east side of CR-33 with a single and controlled access point with a locked gate. A state-managed trout creek runs through the valley floor, while miles of switchback logging roads climb the mountain with two food plots already well established on the mountain top. A half a dozen more log landings are cleared and ready to start new food plots. In the northernmost parcel, a small cabin is open with a small yard for a resting spot, or basecamp for a hunting or ATV/snowmobile club. The views from each parcel top are spectacular, and deer trails crisscross the logging roads at every elevation. Rubs were visible, ruffed grouse drummed all day and turkey tracks and feathers were at every landing where aspens and young maples exist. Bear scat was also found nearest the cedar low valley. A large gravel pit in the southernmost parcel could easily be converted and used as a long-range rifle range or prospected for another cabin location with spectacular mountain top views. Nearly six miles of logging roads provide access to every corner of the property. The land has a history of hunt leases and could be re-established for potential additional income.
