Located just north of Old Glory, the Davidson Peak Ranch is a sprawling recreational and cattle ranch consisting of panoramic vistas, red bluff canyons, rolling grasslands, and miles of creek bottoms. Location: The Davidson Peak Ranch is located in the red bluff canyon area of Stonewall County, just 9.5 miles north of Old Glory. The Southeast portion of the ranch has a main access gate on County Road 235 and there is also access to the Northwest section of the ranch via County Road 231. The ranch is approximately 1.5 hours from Abilene, 2.5 hours from Lubbock, 3 hours from Midland, 3 hours from Fort Worth and 3.5 from Dallas. Stonewall County airport (T60) has a 4,000 ft paved runway located just outside of Aspermont, approximately 25 minutes from the ranch.
Land: The ranch boasts a vast landscape, notable for its dramatic plateaus creating incredible views! The western portion of the ranch is dominated by a series of canyons with thick cover great for hunting. Additionally, a large lake has been built along Wilfong Creek that creates a recreational and aesthetic centerpiece to this pasture. The eastern pasture has benefitted from extensive brush control efforts and features rolling hills with native grasses favorable for cattle, prominent red bluffs, and dramatic topography with canyon-views along the Davidson Peak ridgeline.
Wildlife: The ranch perimeter is high-fenced, with the ranch also separated into approximately 3,500 acre and 2,500 acre high fenced pastures, allowing for varied wildlife species management practices. The ranch possesses a variety of wildlife habitat and ample surface water, providing everything needed for the whitetail, mule deer, aoudad, and quail that call the ranch home. The ranch is set up with existing stands and feeders and is ready to hunt. With an abundance of surface water, waterfowl hunting can be phenomenal in the winter months.

The lake has been recently stocked with baitfish and hybrid bass. The owners have built multiple other stock tanks throughout the ranch that provide plentiful surface water for wildlife and cattle.
