Duke’s Lodge, Hunting Property In Southeast Georgia

Description

Duke's Lodge. This property is located on the Altamaha River with exclusive private access to Bullard Creek WMA on the Montgomery County side. This area is archery only for deer and access is by foot only. With bucks in the upper 150's being taken this property is a deer hunters entrance to awesome whitetail hunting. Ducks are all over the river bottoms with a duck impoundment behind the property. Wild hogs roam the bottoms and turkey hunting is old southern style in the slews with big, heavy, river swamp birds. With three bedrooms and a sleeping area upstairs, the lodge will sleep up to 10 hunters and is perfect for entertaining groups. The main house sits facing the river with a front deck that looks over the water. Cathedral ceilings with a loft/den that overlooks living room, modern kitchen, four bedrooms and great views compliment the main house. Set up on piers it is a truly beautiful place. The grounds are professionally designed with stone walkways and many extras. The Altamaha River itself is full of fish with flathead catfish in the forty pound range caught off of the dock. Swimming, water skiing, and canoeing are also popular on the river. With it's on private dock you can tie up your boat right outside the front door. If you are in the market for a great property to get away or live in this place is a must see.
