Welcome to the shores of Long Lake! This property lies approximately 4 miles N/NW of Willmar or 6 miles W/SW of Spicer and provides a great opportunity to build your private lake home estate or to pursue the development of the property into lakeshore as well as back lots.

If you’ve done this, you will see that the property has an extensive shoreline on Long Lake. The lakeshore measures approximately 1,900 + feet dominated by the sandy shoreline. This entails about half of it in the bay, then the point and the remaining half is eastern facing. It is about as level of shoreline as one can ask for.
There are multiple building sites on the existing ag. field, and again, for the investment/development-minded individual, the opportunity to extend development into the property.
The final property lines and acreage will be determined from a final survey, so if your ideal plans need slightly larger acreage or slightly less, for that matter, the seller is open for discussions.
Long Lake is a larger body of water for the area measuring approximately 2.6 miles long (SW to NE) and 1 mile wide (SE to NW). Per the MN DNR Lakefinder site, Long Lake is just over 1,500 acres with a maximum depth of 16 feet that is aerated. It supports a variety of fish species notable as walleye, northern, largemouth bass, sunfish, and perch.
Walleye natural reproduction is noted as “frequent,” and the Sept. 2020 electrofishing survey found abundant younger year classes and “fantastic natural reproduction.” Along with natural walleye reproduction, supplemental stocking has occurred in various years.
