Ben Davis

Born and raised in central Alabama, Ben Davis has built his life around the land. From early mornings in the woods to years spent managing property for wildlife, his passion for the outdoors isn’t a hobby — it’s a way of life.

Ben learned the value of hard work and land stewardship at a young age working on a large, privately owned farm, where he helped manage both farming and wildlife operations. That hands-on experience laid the foundation for the disciplined, detail-driven approach he brings to every property today. He later earned his degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, but his understanding of land was forged long before then, in the field.

A lifelong outdoorsman, Ben has spent countless hours hunting, scouting, and improving habitat across central and west-central Alabama. He is also the creator of Sawbriar Outdoors, where he documents some of his experiences in the woods and his unique perspective of the outdoor lifestyle. That time behind the camera — and boots on the ground — has further sharpened his ability to evaluate properties not just for what they are, but for what they can become.

Ben believes this part of Alabama is special. Those who own land here carry a responsibility to manage it well and leave it better than they found it. He takes pride in helping buyers find properties that fit their vision, while ensuring sellers receive the full and fair value their land

deserves.

Before joining Whitetail Properties as a Land Specialist, Ben built a successful career in commercial insurance and risk management. That background developed his strengths in negotiation, strategic thinking, and client advocacy — skills that now directly serve his land clients. While the corporate world was rewarding, the call back to the land was undeniable.

Ben chose Whitetail Properties for its integrity, shared values, and commitment to putting clients first. Today, he combines professional expertise, local knowledge, and genuine passion for the outdoors to guide buyers and sellers confidently through every step of the land transaction process.
