My deep affinity for the outdoors and my profound connection to the beautiful state of North Carolina are indivisible. Having been born and raised on the outskirts of one of my most cherished cities, Raleigh, the sense of home it brings has always resonated with me. My upbringing was intimately intertwined with nature; if I wasn't leaving school early on Fridays, accompanied by my father, for deer hunting in the woods, I was likely heading to the coast to partake in offshore fishing adventures. Engaging in activities like catching frogs and exploring critters around our pond remained endlessly captivating.
This ardor for the natural world and its inhabitants seamlessly transitioned into my academic life. During my formative years, I actively participated in organizations like the FFA and 4H, nurturing my interest in the outdoors and animals. After much contemplation, I ultimately found my academic home at NC State University, where I earned my Associates in Horticulture.
My education paved the way for a career centered around landscaping, encompassing both hardscape design and ornamental plant work. Over time, my journey led me through various professional realms, from customer service to my current role in commercial construction. These recent years within the construction industry have provided me with opportunities to traverse the nation alongside my husband and beloved four-legged companions. However, my heart always yearns for the embrace of North Carolina, urging me to return.
The prospect of becoming a land specialist at Whitetail Properties presented itself as an unequivocal decision. This role allows me to amalgamate my fervor for North Carolina, my reverence for the great outdoors, and my commitment to exceptional customer service into a singular career path. I am enthusiastically poised to assist individuals in discovering their own slice of land, where they can craft cherished memories akin to my own experiences.
