David's passion for land began early, growing up in southern West Virginia, where hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors shaped a lifelong appreciation for the land and its stewardship. What started as a personal love for owning property developed into a commitment to understanding every aspect of land acquisition, management, and ownership.
For more than 35 years, David has been actively buying and selling land, personally completing over 100 land transactions and working with thousands of acres throughout his career. His hands-on experience includes timber sales and management, natural resource stewardship, subdivision development from raw land, and negotiating natural gas leases. As a landowner himself, he understands firsthand the financial, recreational, and legacy value that land represents to families and investors.
David’s background is uniquely diverse. After completing his undergraduate studies at Concord College and earning his degree from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, he practiced dentistry in southern West Virginia for 28 years while continuing to invest in and manage land. This combination of professional discipline and real-world land experience allows him to guide clients with integrity, attention to detail, and a long-term perspective.
Having spent his life living and exploring the New River Gorge region, David brings deep local knowledge and genuine enthusiasm to helping clients buy and sell property across Appalachia.
