Prior to becoming a Land Specialist with Whitetail Properties I was a Financial Advisor for the past 22 years in Salina, KS. Before that I was a CPA and shareholder in a Certified Public Accounting firm with offices in Junction City, Manhattan and Abilene.
I grew up on a small farm southeast of Olathe in Johnson County, KS. My current farm is southeast of Chapman bordered by the Smoky Hill river. We have some cropland, prairie grass, hay meadows and timber. I enjoy bowhunting for deer and turkey and have done so for over 40 years. I have incorporated wildlife management on the farm. I have always been passionate about hunting and the outdoors. My Uncle Joe started me quail and dove hunting at a very early age and I so appreciate that opportunity.
My wife Carla and I were married in October, 1978. We have four married children with 11 grandchildren. We have been blessed to have traveled to many states and foreign countries. That travel has reinforced our knowledge that there are people all over the US and world like us raising families, going to work etc.. I have served on various community boards and commissions for the past 40 years.
I have served on parish councils, finance councils and church renovation committees. I was a Kansas Department of Wildlife,Parks and Tourism Commissioner for eight years. I have a Christian faith and have always prided myself on moral and ethical dedication and commitment to doing the right thing to help clients. I have always believed ...”doing the right thing for the right reason and you will be taken care of”. I work to build a relationship and understanding with clients beyond selling their farm. My 40 years of financial experience provides me with valuable insight.
