The rest of the property is mixed age timber, with the majority being loblolly pine. At the very north end of the property is Lost Creek, and near the creek the timber switches to an oak/hickory forest, with several large white oaks. Lost Creek is a large creek, plenty big enough for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, and even jump shooting wood ducks. For the turkey hunters, I found many areas near Lost Creek where they have been scratching for acorns and other food sources. One of the highlights of the property are the 3 lakes, that have all been stocked, fertilized and managed by Southeastern Pond Management. In these lakes you can catch crappie, channel catfish, bluefill, and BIG bass. The northern pond also has a deep spring fed hole, and it has been stocked with rainbow trout in the past. The road system is good enough to trailer and launch a small boat with a trolling motor to fish around the small islands. The topography is gently rolling, and the property is conveniently located to both Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. Electricity is available at the road.
