Back in the spring, I listed and sold the property to the west of this one. It only took a few days. It was a nice farm, but I remember riding over it and looking across the fence and really admiring this tract. I’m really excited about this place. It’s exactly what people describe to me when they explain what they’re looking for in a hunting getaway. It’s secluded at the dead-end of a very private gravel road. There’s electricity on-site and a water well for a future hunting cabin. There are also established food plots, a giant pear tree loaded with pears, and other soft and hard mast trees everywhere. There’s marketable timber to help pay for the farm or to hold as a savings account. There are thick nasty areas for the deer to feel safe and topography that helps predict deer movement. I’d describe the elevation changes as rolling, so a walk through the woods is enjoyable. I’ll be brutally honest, I see A LOT of land, and anymore, it really takes something special to get me excited, and this one does exactly that.
