Land: The Dicar sits high upon red bluffs overlooking the Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River with some of the most diverse and desirable attributes found on a single ranch in the region. With nearly 3 miles of river frontage, the ranch possesses stunning wildlife habitat with an excellent mix of both topography and landscape features. Numerous, deep draws leading to the river hold towering, mature hardwood trees and there is a great balance of native cover to productive tillable acreage. The ranch is extremely well maintained with miles of internal roads, established hunting stand setups, productive wheat fields, and good water distribution throughout.

Wildlife: The Dicar Ranch is truly a recreational hunting paradise, offering something for everyone. The ranch has high fencing surrounding the entire perimeter and the owners have managed the ranch primarily for trophy whitetail and other native game, while also introducing some Transcaspian rams and fallow deer into the mix as well. Improvements: The ranch amenities in place are just what you need to step in and start enjoying the ranch immediately featuring a well maintained main lodge, guest lodge, large shop, and dog kennels.  The main lodge is a furnished 2,100+/- ft home that has a spacious kitchen and living space, master bedroom (with master bath), and four other bedrooms that help house all the family and friends for those big holiday or hunting occasions. A mudroom is perfectly located near the side door to store all your day’s hunting gear and there is also a washroom right next to the mudroom for taking hunting clothes straight to the washer. The guest lodge is perfect for entertaining hunting guests and extended family featuring approx. 1,500ft of living space with two bunk rooms, one full bath, and a large game room with couches/TV viewing for the big game, a pool table, a gun safe room, and a small kitchen. The lodge has approx 500 sqft of covered concrete porch on the west side with a swinging bench to toast the evening sunsets.

The 50x40 equipment barn on concrete slab is big enough for your UTV, ranch truck, and tractor with three roll-up bay doors. There is also an enclosed area inside the barn for all your parts, equipment, etc. On the porch of the equipment barn is a commercial walk-in cooler for storing all the harvested game and there is a stainless-steel sink setup adjacent to the cooler for cleaning game.

The headquarters area has a nice, fenced-in Bermuda grass yard for the kids and dogs to play and 6ft sidewalk that connects and surrounds all structures!

-Other features/structures on the property is a very large covered area for tractors, implements and various other equipment.  This area has water and electricity and also serves as the main game cleaning station (skinning racks, etc). A railroad container is located in this area and is insulated and sealed for storing protein, corn, etc.
