Description
This is a very remote timber tract located about 20 minutes outside of Saint Marys. It was timbered over 20 years ago and has some large oaks, particularly black oak. Other varieties of tree species on the property include white oak, locust, ash, sycamore, and some smaller black walnuts. It has a couple of shallow oil and gas wells with dirt road infrastructure. There is a former log landing pad used to house two older campers that are no longer usable, but the location could be utilized for a camper or cabin. The access to this property is very rugged. The existence of a permanent easement is assumed, but unverified. It borders County Route 20, but the primary access is by dirt road that cuts through the neighboring property, crosses a stream, and goes up into the property. As the road currently stands, it is UTV and foot access only. This property could be utilized as a hunting property, a timber investment, or a remote cabin location. The topography is steep, but there are a series of benches and flats that promote funneling of game and good archery/rifle whitetail hunting.
