The all-new 2026 Mathews ARC is the latest and greatest in the archery world. What does Mathews have to say about its new offering?

Drilling down on specs, it comes in a 30- or 34-inch axle-to-axle length. The 30-inch model has a 6-inch brace height, 25- to 30.5-inch draw length, weighs 3.99 pounds, and has an IBO rating of 348 FPS. Its MSRP is $1,459. The 34-inch bow has a brace height of 6.5 inches, 26.5- to 32-inch draw length, weighs 4.3 pounds, and has an IBO of 343 FPS. Its MSRP is $1,569. Both have 55- to 80-pound draw weights and 80% let-off. They implement the SWX-2 cam.

Benelli

Most know Benelli from its exceptional lineup of shotguns. These are great turkey and waterfowl weapons. What’s becoming widely regarded as the best out-of-the-box performance rifle is their complete family of LUPO bolt-action centerfire rifles.

The Lupo is synonymous with durability. It also offers the BE.S.T. barrel treatment, which stands for Benelli Surface Treatment. That maximizes durability, and it’s due to the cryo-treated enhancement. This elevates accuracy, stability, and other benefits, as well. This coating on the barrel correlates with a 25-year warranty.

This gun is crafted with a chassis-style construction type. Meaning, the steel receiver and barrel are attached to an aluminum frame. It has barrel lengths ranging from 22-24 inches. Overall lengths range from 42.125 inches to 44.125 inches. Most models weigh between 7.2 and 7.5 pounds. Right-handed models are available.

“To me, what's awesome about the Lupo rifle is that, right out of the box, it's so customizable to fit any individual,” said Wes McConnell, a Whitetail Properties Land Specialist in Arkansas and Louisiana. “I've never had a rifle that you could customize yourself without having to take it to a gunsmith.”

The Lupo offers a very versatile platform. Shooters can adjust comb height, length-of-pull, and more. Change the comb height to obtain that perfect cheek weld. Adjust the length-of-pull with spacers in the stock. With most versions of the Lupo, it can be changed from 13.8 to 14.75 inches.

“It holds and feels like a Benelli shotgun,” said Luke Wallace, a Whitetail Properties Land Specialist in Nebraska. “The way it pulls up feels like a Benelli shotgun, and I love the way a Benelli shotgun pulls up. It just feels comfortable to me. So, that rifle pulls up nice.”

Lacrosse Alpha Lite II CW
