Steve grew up in Northwest Oklahoma, in a family with a very proud hunting heritage. His Grandfather was the local Game Warden for over 32 years and instilled a genuine respect for wildlife and land-stewardship at an early age. Steve and his wife Stacy, feel blessed to hand-down this rich heritage to their son Ridge, and daughter Reese.

In 1994, shortly after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in “Wildlife Conservation”, Steve spent the next several years commercial Salmon fishing the Bering Sea in Alaska. In 1998, he founded Mt. Hide Outfitters which quickly became one of the most highly regarded trophy Whitetail Hunting services in North America. A business-foundation built on honesty and hard work. He currently operates various hunting-camps in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, and Florida. For more than 28 years, trophy Whitetails have been his obsession, resulting in numerous Boone and Crockett bucks for himself as well as M. H.O. clients.

Annually, Steve has numerous hunts showcased on the “Outdoor”, “Pursuit”, and “Sportsman” channels, along with numerous National Magazine articles. His overall “presence” in the Hunting-Industry gives his sellers an instant advantage.
