Chad Chance

My passion for the outdoors has always been a large part of my life, I started early on chasing giant bull Elk and Mule Deer throughout the fall. As the days grew shorter in the wintertime, I would turn my focus to upland bird hunting - such as quail. While attending the University of Oregon to play football, I continued to hunt, but became obsessed with fly fishing. It started as I taught myself the basics, and quickly became a greater part of my life when I built my first drift boat. My passion for fishing over the years has continued to grow, not only for trout, but also for steelhead and salmon. After college my focus slightly shifted, as I began my career in the oil industry, I found myself wandering back into the woods to hunt every big game species throughout Wyoming. My wife and I have lived in Lander, Wyoming for the last 15 years now, where we've raised three children who all love to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoor opportunities the west has to offer.
