I am originally from Southeast Michigan. I have spent the last decade in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem of Wyoming hunting, fishing and working to conserve wildlife habitat . I met my wife, Kelly, out west and we now live near her hometown in Central Ohio. We have a son and a daughter and a golden retriever. Hunting and land management is a lifelong passion that I aspire to pass on to my children.
Emmette Phalen of Whitetail properties was my sales agent for the listing and sale transaction of my tree farm.
I found Emmett to be very knowledgeable about natural resources and the habitats that support wildlife. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management and has worked in that career field. With this background, he was able to access the wildlife values and potential for my property. He promoted these values in the listing and showing of my property.
Real estate transactions are complicated. Mishaps can occur that encumber or even derail a prospective sale. The buyer’s agents commonly make errors. Emmett reviewed each step of the sale processes with a fine toothed comb and was able to identify errors in the paperwork. He quickly took steps to correct the errors and kept the transaction on track. Emmett responded to any questions or communication from me in a very prompt manner.
On a personal level, I found Emmett to be an outstanding human being. Honest, polite, respectful and genuinely committed to being a steward of Natural Resources.
After the closing of one of my parcels, I engaged Emmett a second time to sell another of my parcels
