Jerrod Meyer

Growing up in a rural midwestern community, it is obvious to all who know Jerrod that hunting, fishing, and the outdoors have always been the driving passions in his life. Jerrod has bow-hunted, fished, and explored all over the world, from his home state of Nebraska to South Africa, Canada, Alaska, and over a dozen other states. He has previously spent over 20 years in the outdoor and archery industry managing retail storefronts and eventually on to designing high-end archery accessories for nearly 10 years, which further extended his travels and adventures in the outdoors.

Over the past years, Jerrod has transitioned into a new and exciting time in his life that has led him to new adventures, a new home, new career, and a wonderful family. Jerrod's wife Heather and himself recently welcomed their son Sawyer into the world, and are beyond anxious to introduce him to the outdoors. They hope that he, too, will enjoy, thrive in, and appreciate the world of hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and outdoor adventure in the ways that they have. Raising him with respect, appreciation, imagination, and passion is something they do not take lightly, and hope that he will grow up like they did in the “good old days”.

There is one constant that has always been an integral part of life that has allowed Jerrod to pursue his dreams and passions no matter where he traveled to: Land. Without land, his fondest memories, greatest achievements, most cherished memories, and most rewarding adventures would not be possible. Uniting buyers and sellers in the exchange of ownership of land is something that he does not take for granted, and is one of the most rewarding challenges out there. Helping a buyer purchase their dream property, no matter if it’s for recreation, building their dream home, income and investment, or whatever the case, is an achievement that brings Jerrod great joy and pride. Assisting a seller in parting with land that they may have owned for generations, having an intense emotional attachment to, can be a bittersweet situation, but is a great opportunity to build a new and exciting relationship. These are just tiny snippets of what Jerrod enjoys about being a Land Specialist and helping others.

Jerrod looks forward to where this incredible road will take him, and wakes up every morning with passion and excitement for what the day may bring. Jerrod cherishes the relationships, friendships, and family he has built, but will never stop reaching for more!
