John Lien

I was born and raised in northern Minnesota. Both of my parents were school teachers and from an early age, I learned the importance of respect, discipline, promptness, and follow-through. I spent 12 summers working on a farm learning various farming practices and land values. After college, I moved to North Dakota and spent 24 years as a construction project manager giving me a sound understanding of various real estate practices, terms, and laws. My hunting roots were planted deep while growing up, whitetail deer hunting with my dad and brother started it all. Since then I have been blessed with being able to hunt from Mexico to Alaska, with the majority taking place in the western United States. I love exploring land, improving land, and learning about land regardless of where it is.
