John Myers

John Myers derived his expertise from a lifetime of hard work with a passion for the outdoors and land use. His experience in real estate land sales complements his lifelong dedication to the outdoor world of agriculture, hunting and fishing. This helped create a true understanding of the relationships between wildlife, their natural habitats and man-made improvements.

His experience, knowledge and leadership provides everyone he works with an unparalleled depth and genuine connection to what each property has to offer.

Growing up in Central New York, he spent over 30 years immersed in farming operations for crops, dairy, beef other small livestock. John had the first Certified Organic Pure Bred Black Angus Beef Herd in NYS. He managed his 800+ acre farm with emphasis on conservation, wildlife and forestry management.

Throughout the years John built and remodeled many homes, and became a licensed home inspector. This experience directly assists his clients with residential real estate sales and purchases.

Commercially, John developed his electrical, mechanical and management skills working in Facility Operations for IBM, later transitioning those skills to the American Red Cross Blood Services as the Director of Facility Operations for the NY Penn Region, as well as serving on the County Board of Supervisors.

His real estate career began 18 years ago with Cabela's Trophy Properties, before starting his own independent Real Estate Brokerage. Today, as the Managing New York State Real Estate Broker for Whitetail Properties Real Estate LLC and for the last five years John educates and manages an expert team of over a dozen Real Estate agents across New York State. As Broker John is involved in the listing and sales of properties across the state with a home territory in Central NY, including the Counties of Chenango, Broome, Delaware, Otsego, Madison, Cortland, Oneida and Onondaga.
