PRICE REDUCED! Imagine enjoying your morning cup of coffee relaxing on your covered deck, watching wildlife wake up and start their day feet from your deck. This dream is possible at this super secluded home on the north end of Hammond. The home is on the bluff top via a long dead-end road driveway and overlooks the Zumbro River below. In the winter, you can view the river from home; if you desire to view it during the summer, you could have some trees harvested to enjoy the view all year. The property offers frontage along the Zumbro River, which is easy to access via County Road 68 with multiple spots you can walk down and easily fish the river.
This property is almost 100% timbered and has rolling terrain, south-facing slopes, a pond, and springs. With the Zumbro River on the south side of the property, tillable acres to the North and East, and this property being south facing, it is a hotbed for deer and other wildlife to travel through and bed. Once you walk this property, you will see the significant deer sign all over this property, and you can see from the pictures taken from the house the wildlife will feel comfortable feet from the house. The property and area are well known for having high-quality deer and deer numbers. Tons of turkeys call this place home as well. There is a spot on the property's west end down on the county road's north side that would make for an excellent spot to put in a food plot. There are also several acres in the Northeast corner by the pond that would work great for a food plot and a Banks Blind. On the ridge around the house, several good red oak trees could be harvested, and at the bottom on the north side of the county road, there are 9-10 nice black walnut trees that are ready for harvest and would be easy to harvest without tearing things up.
If the property itself wasn't enough to excite you, the 1999 custom-built walkout rambler is spacious with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a wet bar, an office, a storage roof, a safe room, open and covered decks, fireplaces, and more. The home's main level features a very nice-sized kitchen with tile floors and space for a small table, and next to that is a more formal dining area. The main floor living room is sunken and features hardwood floors, a fireplace, and huge windows to enjoy all the views of nature outside. A guest bedroom with hardwood floors and a full bath is just down the hall from the living room. The main bedroom is at the far end of the main level and features hardwood floors with access to the deck and the main bathroom, which features a soaker tub, shower, and walk-in closet. The laundry room is on the main level and is a pass-through to what is currently used as a craft/sewing room which features a 1/2 bath and access to the attached garage. The garage has in-floor heat and shelving for storage.
The lower level of the home features in-floor heat and a second living room with a wood fireplace. A bedroom with no closet is currently being used as an office. There is a small wet bar behind the living room, and next to that is a storage room that leads you to the hidden safe space, which has many safes that will transfer with the sale. Next downstairs is a bedroom with a patio door for easy access outside. There is a full bath with a tile floor and large vanity across the hall from that bedroom. At the end of the hall is another bedroom that could be used as a second main bedroom with access to the outside, a patio door, a full bathroom, and a walk-in closet. There is a good sized office next to it currently being used for storage and can't be used as a bedroom as there are no windows. The mechanical room is between the office and bedroom and serves as a walk-through to the workshop area. The workshop area has a set of stairs that will bring you up to the sewing room right next to the garage entrance.
On the outside of the home, you will find vinyl siding and a large covered porch with maintenance-free decking right off the kitchen. On the back side of the house, you will find another deck with maintenance-free decking accessed by the guest bedroom and the main bedroom on the main level.
There is a 36'x64' pole shed that features concrete floors and electrical, two overhead doors on one end a single door on the opposite end, and it will be great for storing all your toys and equipment.
The property is selling with all the personal property at no additional cost.

ZUMBRO RIVER OVERVIEW
The Zumbro River is a tributary of the Mississippi River in the Driftless Area of southeastern Minnesota. It flows 65 miles from the confluence of its principal tributaries and drains a watershed of 1,428 square miles. This river has a lively current, and paddlers must keep a lookout to avoid the many snags they are liable to encounter. There are no major rapids, but paddling skills are needed to maneuver with the current and avoid snags in the river while still trying to fish.
The Zumbro River also has some major tributaries, the North Fork, the North Branch of the Middle Fork, the Middle Fork, and the South Branch of the Middle Fork. The forks and branches of the Zumbro River can be more difficult to negotiate, particularly in low water conditions. Still, they can provide many good opportunities for those preferring a smaller stream.
The Zumbro River is a good fishing river with anglers fishing for catfish, smallmouth bass, bullheads, and suckers.
