There’s also Gyp lease-roads running through the property, giving the owner great accessibility throughout the tract. The property has not recently been grazed resulting in a great bedding area. There’s a spring-influenced creek that meanders from south to north and passes just below camp. The creek has numerous pools of water, even in the dry months. It supports numerous hardwoods while serving as a corridor for the deer and turkey. Most of the ranch’s cover consists of cedar trees, hardwoods, plum thickets, and tall native grasses. There will also be some great turkey hunting here. One of the highlights of the property is a fishing pond near the camp area where the owner has caught some big largemouth bass. Near the pond is a corral area with a lean-to and shed. There’s electric and water here. All of these features offer an owner the perfect spot to set up a hunting camp.
