Description
An excellent piece of hunting land in between the Poplar River and the Middle River with one-quarter mile of frontage on the Lake Superior South Shore. A camp location has been established and access is provided via an easement road. This is an excellent Whitetail Deer hunting area, and numbers of Deer per square mile are very high in this area. A thick understory combined with small grassy openings with Aspen, Balsam, Ash and Birch are prevalent, as well as swaths of Tag Alder and heavy cover. The western portions of the parcels reach the top of the ravine looking over the Middle River and is a natural travel corridor for Wildlife as well as the top of the ridge overlooking Lake Superior “Gitchee Gumee”.
