Robert Brooks is a Colorado Land Specialist with almost a decade of experience working as a professional fly fishing guide. Raised on a small farm in Northeast Texas, Robert learned the values of hard work and land stewardship from a young age, which ultimately led him to a career in the outdoors.
After receiving a degree in Corporate Communications with a minor in Business from the University of Texas at Austin, Robert spent the next two years working in sales and consulting for a fortune 100 tech company. Life in a cubicle just didn't have the same appeal as being in the mountains, casting a dry fly to a rising trout or hearing the bugle of an elk in an aspen grove in the Fall. And with that in mind, he packed up and moved to Southwestern Colorado, where he built a successful career as a professional fly fishing guide. In addition to guiding all across Western Colorado, Robert formerly spent his winters guiding fly fishing in Chilean Patagonia where he had the chance to utilize helicopters, jet boats, pangas and drift boats in pursuit of Patagonia's trophy brown trout.
Throughout his journey in business and guiding, Robert has refined the knowledge and skills that make him successful in his role as a Whitetail Properties Land Specialist. Robert and his wife, Randle, reside in the greater Durango area. Robert's true passion lies in helping his clients and customers find their dream property in the mountains of Colorado.
