Description
When evaluating hunting farms the number one thing that I look for is diversity. This farm has it! Ideally, you want a property that is going to have mast-producing trees in the fall, browse in the winter, and perennial food plots throughout. This has all of the right elements. One thing that I really like about this farm is that you have multiple access points from the north and east. Depending on the wind, you have several different ways to get in and out without spooking deer. There is a nice stand of mature, marketable timber in the hills along the north and west side of the farm. There are several great building sits where you could have your very own cabin in the woods. Down in the bottoms lies over 20 acres of expired CRP, which is nothing but thickets. This gives the deer an excellent travel corridor as they move from one stand of timber to the next. Several food plots have been opened up in the bottoms so you can hunt this on nearly any wind. A large hunting blind sits on the largest food plot and is probably the largest blind I have ever seen.
