Description
Opportunities to purchase ownership in well-established hunting clubs are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially clubs with a long history of wildlife management and quality hunting. This offering includes a 1/27 equity ownership share in the Diamond Island Hunting Club, providing access to approximately 2,176 acres of diverse Mississippi River bottomland habitat in Madison Parish, Louisiana.
Diamond Island has earned a strong reputation for its intensive deer management program, carefully maintained habitat, and outstanding hunting opportunities. Ownership is shared equally among members, with each member enjoying access to the entire property while operating under club bylaws designed to maintain the long-term quality of the hunting experience.
The landscape offers exceptional diversity, including towering mature hardwoods, thick regenerating cover, cypress sloughs, food plots, natural travel corridors, and riverfrontage. This variety of habitat supports healthy populations of white-tailed deer, wild turkey, waterfowl, squirrels, rabbits, and other small game.
One of the greatest advantages of Diamond Island is that much of the preseason work has already been completed. Established food plots are prepped for planting, numerous box stands are in place, and feeders are maintained throughout the property, allowing members to spend more time hunting and less time preparing the property.
Fishing opportunities are equally impressive. Located adjacent to the Mississippi River and numerous backwater areas, members enjoy access to excellent fishing throughout much of the year, including tightlining for catfish on the beach during the summer months.
The club also maintains duck hunting opportunities through designated duck holes developed specifically for members. A wildlife biologist guides annual harvest recommendations to help preserve the property's outstanding wildlife resources. Under current club guidelines, each membership share allows the harvest of two trophy bucks as defined by the club's bylaws. In contrast, doe and cull buck harvest recommendations are established annually by the club's management and consulting biologist.
Security is another valuable feature of the property. Access is controlled through a locked, gated entrance, providing privacy and peace of mind for members.
Despite its secluded setting along the Mississippi River, Diamond Island remains conveniently located just across the river from Vicksburg, Mississippi. Restaurants, shopping, fuel, lodging, and other conveniences are only minutes away, making weekend trips both easy and enjoyable.
This share does not include a camp or lot; however,r there are a few river lots available for purchase separately, where you can build a camp to your liking.
The annual membership assessment is currently capped at $5,000, helping fund property maintenance, wildlife management, food plots, road work, and other club operations.
Whether you're looking for a place to pursue mature whitetails, enjoy waterfowl hunting, fish the Mississippi River, or spend time outdoors with family and friends, Diamond Island Hunting Club offers a unique opportunity to own an interest in one of Louisiana's premier recreational properties.
