Description
The Black Diamond Guest Ranch is in the historic St. Regis River Valley. This area boasts so much for the outdoor adventurer. You can hike, backpack, fish, ride horses, and explore the mountain lakes up high. The winters are just as active, with Lookout Ski Area just 30 minutes west of DeBorgia. The cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in the area is on par for western MT. The fall season is a great time for the avid hunter. This property backs up to the Lolo National Forest and is located in Hunting District 200. The wildlife will not disappoint, with elk, deer, bear, and moose around the area.
The Ranch features genuine cozy log cabins that accommodate up to five people, complete with 1 queen/ twin and 1 twin/twin log bunk bed, handmade quilts, a small kitchen with pots, pans, and dishes, and a bathroom with a hot shower. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom bunkhouse has a fully stocked kitchen and a huge dining room and sleeps 12 to 16. The ranch also has two soft-sided wall tents and a newer "Honeymoon Cabin" for a glamping experience. Relax in front of the fire, play pool, or sing around the piano in the lodge.
This property is set up well for your four-footers. Horses, mules, cows, or lamas. There are about 5 acres of split pasture ground for the animals. This includes a developed spring with a stock water right to keep the animals hydrated. Multiple outbuildings include a shop/barn, hay/tractor shed, and loafing sheds. There is no shortage of storage for gear, tack, 4-wheelers, and additional outdoor gear.
