This farm in Northwest Kansas is located in an area with excellent pheasant and quail numbers and consists of habitat that will hold many upland birds, as well as whitetail deer. The entire farm consists of tall grasses, brush, thickets, scattered cedars, and pockets of timber. Several deer commonly bed in the tall bluestem grass and large thickets during the day before feeding in the neighboring crop fields in the evening. There is good deer sign throughout the trees and thickets and the farm proved to hold both quail and pheasants my first time walking through it.
